As the name suggests, Scrubbers are systems which would scrub the polluted air with fresh air or water or suitable agent. This process ensures that the scrubbed air which is polluted.
It is used in multiple industries from food, to pharmaceuticals to chemicals, metallurgy, textile, engineering and many more.
Design characteristics
There are majorly two types of scrubbing systems, Wet & Dry. As the name suggests in wet scrubber. The process is basically syphoning the polluted air and passing it through a venturi.
The systems generally work with single filter or multiple filters different cleaning arrangements, blowers – ID or FD fans etc.
